Application Questions

These are not a test, and you will receive them beforehand to prepare:

  • With your current skill set, how can you contribute to improving Southeast Asia’s environmental community?
  • Why do you want to join EcoCupid as a volunteer, and why did you choose this position? How will you benefit, and how can you help us?
  • What do you hope to gain from volunteering with EcoCupid?

Volunteers can learn skills in storytelling, media production, project management, and sustainability. You’ll also get to connect with a vibrant network of environmentalists and creators.

Yes! EcoCupid welcomes all youth in Southeast Asia, no matter what language you speak. We are an inclusive community where everyone can feel safe and respected. You don’t need perfect English to join—volunteering with us is also a great way to practice and make new friends from different countries

You’ll also have the chance to practise English, connect with new friends across Southeast Asia, and be part of a supportive community. In some cases, we may provide certificates, depending on the volunteer campaign.

If none of the available positions match your skills or interests, we still welcome passionate individuals who want to contribute in other ways. There are always opportunities to support our work through special projects, collaborations, or other forms of assistance.

If you’re interested, please email us at enquiry@ecocupid-asean.com with a brief introduction about yourself and how you’d like to contribute. Our team will review your message and explore possible ways for you to get involved.

Yes! We organize workshops and events throughout the year, covering media training, environmental storytelling, and more. Check our website for upcoming opportunities.

EcoCupid does not provide direct funding for eco-projects. Instead, we support them by running impactful media campaigns to amplify their message, connect them with potential partners, and increase their visibility.

Client

We address this risk with three strategies:

Evergreen Content: Our content stays relevant over time, ensuring continuous audience engagement.

Minimum Engagement Guarantee: We provide measurable benchmarks for every project, giving sponsors confidence in visibility outcomes.

Regional and Multilingual Distribution: By reaching diverse Southeast Asian audiences, we maximize inclusivity and engagement.

To maximize workshop effectiveness, we use:

Follow-Up Media Campaigns: Supporting participants in applying their learnings through practical campaigns.

Diversified and Localized Content Delivery: Adapting training to the needs of different regions for relevance and success.

Clear Impact Metrics: Measuring success through tangible outcomes like skills gained, content produced, and participant engagement.

We use a Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) system with:

Commitment-to-Impact Ratio: Tracking how commitments translate into results.

Portfolio Impact Reports: Offering detailed insights for sponsors.

Three-Way KPIs: Measuring media reach, environmental impact, and youth empowerment.

Sponsors can expect:

Brand Visibility: Enhanced recognition through targeted media campaigns.

Long-Term Engagement: Sustained relationships with eco-projects for ongoing impact.

Diversified Contributions: Supporting multiple projects reduces risk and ensures broader outcomes.

EcoCupid collaborates with NGOs, CSR-focused corporations, sustainability-driven organizations, and embassies. These clients align with our mission of empowering eco-projects and promoting environmental awareness across Southeast Asia.

EcoCupid goes beyond traditional “touch-and-go” media. Instead of simply showcasing eco-projects and moving on, we stay engaged with the communities we feature. We support them through follow-up campaigns, capacity-building workshops, and connecting them with partners to ensure their long-term success.
